Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries
3/4 cup Betty Crocker™ Whipped vanilla frosting
1/4 cup blue sanding sugar

Steps:

Rinse strawberries well and let them dry completely.
In a small bowl melt the frosting in the microwave for 5-10 seconds or until frosting is dipping consistency.
Dip the strawberries 2/3 of the way in the frosting, shaking the excess off, and then dip the top in the sanding sugar.
Place strawberries on wax or parchment paper and let them set in the fridge until serving.

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 pint blueberries, rinsed and drained
2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced

Steps:

Prepare cake according to package directions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan. Cool completely.
Frost cake with whipped topping. Place blueberries in a square in the corner, and arrange sliced strawberries as stripes to make an American flag. Chill until serving.
