QUICK AND EASY PIZZA CRUST RECIPE | ALLRECIPES

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust Recipe | Allrecipes image

This is a great recipe when you don't want to wait for the dough to rise. You just mix it and allow it to rest for 5 minutes and then it's ready to go! It yields a soft, chewy crust.

Total Time 45 minutes

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 15 minutes

Yield 1 12-inch pizza crust

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 ½ cups bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a pizza pan.
  • Place warm water in a bowl; add yeast and sugar. Mix and let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  • Add flour, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture; beat until smooth. You can do this by hand or use a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook to make it easier. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to the prepared pizza pan.
  • Spread crust with sauce and toppings of your choice.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Total Time 1 hours 50 minutes

Cook Time 35 minutes

Yield 2 servings (1 pizza)

Number Of Ingredients 21

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 large egg
2 cups freshly grated mozzarella
1/4 cup Spicy Pizza Sauce, recipe follows
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
4 cups baby greens
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Parmesan shavings, for topping
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
Three 15-ounce cans crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • For the pizza: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor to a fine snowy powder (you should have about 2 1/2 cups). Transfer the processed cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and cover. Microwave until soft, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a clean, dry kitchen towel and allow to cool.
  • When cool enough to handle, wrap the cauliflower in the towel and wring out as much moisture as possible, transferring to a second towel if necessary. In a large bowl, stir together the cauliflower, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, egg and 1 cup of the mozzarella until well combined. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and press into a 10-inch round. Bake until golden, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Remove the crust from the oven and top with the Spicy Pizza Sauce and remaining 1 cup mozzarella. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, 10 minutes more. Garnish with fresh basil leaves just before serving.
  • For the salad: Meanwhile, add the greens to a large bowl. Whisk together the olive oil, baslsamic and salt and pepper to taste in a measuring cup. Pour over the greens and toss. Top with Parmesan shavings.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat until hot. Add a tablespoon or so of olive oil, throw in the garlic and chopped onions and give them a stir. Cook until the onions are soft, 4 to 5 minutes. Add the chicken broth, whisking to deglaze the bottom of the pan. Cook until the liquid reduces by half. Add the crushed tomatoes and stir to combine. Add the brown sugar, red pepper flakes and salt and pepper to taste and stir. Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Let cool, then puree the sauce.

CHEF JOHN'S CAULIFLOWER PIZZA CRUST - ALLRECIPES
While I have not made this particular recipe I've made cauliflower crust pizza's for awhile now, adding egg, cheese, spices but from my experience I've found the best crust is not made on parchment but rather right on the pizza pan. It doesn't stick and it's 'drier' and crispier which we like. Cauliflower …

LOW CALORIE PIZZA CRUST: A 3-INGREDIENT RECIPE FOR THIN ...
Oct 06, 2020 · Since the crust is the usually the first modification, cauliflower, ground chicken, low carb pitas and flatbreads, and even straight parmesan cheese have graced my table as pizza crust. But none hold a flame to the pizza crust in this recipe. Largely because it’s a flour based crust that’s like real-deal thin and crispy pizza crust.

QUICK AND EASY PIZZA CRUST RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
AMAZING CRUST!!!!! It was soft yet slightly crispy at the same time. i did let it rise 30+ minutes while i was preparing the sauce. Rather than baking at 450 degrees, i baked it at 350 degrees for approx. 15 min. it turned out absolutely delicious! the sauce was good too (i used the "exquisite pizza sauce" recipe) but the crust MADE the pizza.

VALENTINO'S PIZZA CRUST RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
This pizza dough was QUICK, EASY, and DELICIOUS. I followed the recipe exactly, anything I added to it was after I made the dough. (Next time I will add some spice to it when mixing and I'm pretty sure it will turn out great.) This dough takes on any flavor/spice well. I did a cheese stuffed crust pizza, two regular pizzas and a garlic crust pizza.
