Total Time 50 minutes

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 40 minutes

Yield 2 pounds wings

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
salt to taste
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; coat the aluminum foil with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet so they do not touch; season with salt.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until browned and crispy on top, about 20 minutes. Flip the wings with tongs and cook until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes more.
  • Stir together the Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and hot sauce in large mixing bowl. Add the wings to the bowl and toss with a spatula to coat evenly. Allow to sit for about five minutes and toss again to re-coat. Transfer to a plate to serve.

Provided by Ree Drummond : Food Network

Total Time 1 hours 0 minutes

Cook Time 15 minutes

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 1/2 pounds chicken wings
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 cup honey
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 jalapenos, thinly sliced
1 serrano chile, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Ranch dressing, for serving

Steps:

  • For the wings: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with foil, then place a metal rack on the pan.
  • Pat the wings dry with kitchen paper, then sprinkle with the salt, pepper and smoked paprika on both sides. Place them on the rack, making sure they are not touching. Bake for 25 minutes, then pull them out. Use tongs to turn them over, then put them back in the oven and bake until golden brown and cooked through, an additional 20 minutes .
  • For the hot honey sauce: Meanwhile, add the honey, barbecue sauce, Louisiana hot sauce, vinegar, jalapenos and serranos to a small pot over low heat. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and continue to cook on low until reduced and slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove the wings from the oven and turn the oven to broil. One by one, dunk the wings in the sauce. Place them back on the rack and broil for 3 minutes to caramelize.
  • For the garnish: Place the wings on a platter and sprinkle over the chopped parsley. Serve with a bowl of ranch dressing for dipping.

BUFFALO WILD WINGS BUFFALO/SPICY GARLIC SAUCE & W…
Menu Description: "Here they are in all their lip-smacking, award-winning glory: Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings spun in your favorite signature sauce." Since Buffalo, New York was too far away, Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery satisfied their overwhelming craving in 1981 by opening a spicy chicken wing restaurant close to home in Kent, Ohio. With signature sauces and a festive atmosphere, the chain has now evolved from a college campus sports bar with wings to a family restaurant with over 300 units. While frying chicken wings is no real secret—simply drop them in hot shortening for about 10 minutes—the delicious spicy sauces make the wings special. There are 12 varieties of sauce available to coat your crispy chicken parts at the chain, and I'm presenting clones for the more traditional flavors. These sauces are very thick, almost like dressing or dip, so we'll use an emulsifying technique that will ensure a creamy final product where the oil won't separate from the other ingredients. Here is the chicken wing cooking and coating technique, followed by clones for the most popular sauces: Spicy Garlic, Medium and Hot. The sauce recipes might look the same at first, but each has slight variations make your sauce hotter or milder by adjusting the level of cayenne pepper. You can find Frank's pepper sauce by the other hot sauces in your market. If you can't find that brand, you can also use Crystal Louisiana hot sauce. BEST CLASSIC BUFFALO WINGS RECIPE - HOW TO MAKE BAKED ...
There's nothing like homemade buffalo wings on game day. Frying wings can be messy and involved, and it's not what you want to be doing when the game is on. Baking the chicken is way easier and yields just as crispy results.

  • Preheat oven to 400° and place a wire rack over a baking sheet. In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Bake until chicken is golden and skin is crispy, 50 to 60 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through. In a small saucepan, whisk together hot sauce and honey. Bring to simmer then stir in butter. Cook until butter is melted and slightly reduced, about 2 minutes. Heat broiler on low. Transfer baked wings to a bowl and toss with buffalo sauce until completely coated. Return wings to rack and broil—watching carefully!—until sauce caramelizes, 3 minutes. Serve with ranch dressing and vegetables.
