- In a small skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the beans, soup, Italian seasoning and pepper. Transfer to a 7-in. pie plate coated with cooking spray. , Spread mashed potatoes over the top; sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.

HEARTY HAMBURGER PIE | JUST A PINCH RECIPES
Put this hearty casserole in your recipe box because, after one bite, it will become a new family favorite. It's similar to a shepherd's pie... but so much more. The meat is full of flavor from the onion soup mix and gets sandwiched between cheesy potatoes. Tomato soup and French fried onions mixed in add tons more flavor. We did add the optional sour cream, butter, and bacon to the potatoes - boy did it amp up the potatoes. An easy casserole dinner recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet brown ground beef. About 1/2 way through cooking the beef add in 1/2 a package of onion soup mix, and let it cook the rest of the way with the beef. Taste this before adding any additional salt, as the onion soup mix can be quite salty on its own!
- Drain the beef completely and pat it dry to soak up any additional grease left behind.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare your potatoes per package directions.
- I usually add in sour cream, butter, and chopped bacon to the potatoes for extra flavor.
- In a deep oven-safe dish or a 9x13 baking dish spread a layer of potatoes in the bottom.
- Layer the remaining ingredients as follows: beef mixture, green beans, tomato soup, and French's cheddar onions if you're using them.
- Finally, top with the last part of the mashed potatoes.
- Place casserole in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until heated through and the potatoes begin to get a golden color.
- At the last 5 minutes, sprinkle cheese over top of the dish. Cook until melted completely. This is an all-in-one dish and can be served with a light salad on the side.

Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes., Transfer to an 11x7-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. For topping, in a small bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine egg, milk and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Spoon over filling; gently spread to cover the top., Bake, uncovered, 14-18 minutes or until filling is bubbly and a toothpick inserted into topping comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

KFC CHICKEN POT PIE RECIPE - TOP SECRET RECIPES
A good chicken pot pie has perfectly flakey crust and the right ratio of light and dark meat chicken and vegetables swimming in a deliciously creamy white sauce. KFC serves up a pie that totally fits the bill, and now I'm going to show you how to make the same thing at home from scratch. You'll want to start this recipe a couple hours before you plan to bake the pies, since the dough for the crust should chill awhile and the chicken needs to soak in the brine. When it comes time for baking, use small pie tins, ramekins, or Pyrex baking dishes (custard dishes) that hold 1 1/2 cups. The recipe will then yield exactly 4 pot pies. If your baking dishes are smaller, there should still be enough dough here to make crust for up to 6 pot pies. And don't forget to brush egg whites over the top of the pies before you pop them into the oven to get the same shiny crust as KFC's original pot pie.
