Ingredients

1 box brownie mix, with additional ingredients according to box instructions
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup butter, melted
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk chocolate chips

Steps:

Prepare brownie mix according to box instructions.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and melted butter.
Distribute scoops of the peanut butter mixture on top of the brownie and flatten the mixture to achieve an even layer.
In a small bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and butter. Microwave at 15-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval.
Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the brownies, then evenly spread to achieve a flat, even layer.
Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Slice and serve.

1/2 cup butter, cubed
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate. Stir in sugar; cool slightly. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and pecans. , Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
