1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (4 pound) boneless pork loin roast
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce, or to taste
12 roll (blank)s slider rolls, halved
1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste

Steps:

  • Stir together condensed soup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add pork roast and toss to cover with sauce.
  • Cover and cook on Low until pork is fork tender and slightly pink in the center, 8 to 9 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Spoon off any fat and discard.
  • Transfer pork to a cutting board and shred the meat with 2 forks. Return meat to the slow cooker and toss in sauce to coat, adding tomato sauce if it needs more sauce.
  • Divide pork among slider rolls and serve with hot pepper sauce.

Pulled Pork Sliders - The perfect bite-sized pulled pork sandwiches. Dry rubbed pork that is cooked in either the Instant Pot or slow cooker and then slathered in BBQ sauce before being put in a slider bun.

1 boneless pork shoulder (about 5 pounds)
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Steps:

  • Pat the pork shoulder dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the pork, making sure to evenly coat it on all sides.
  • Add the chicken stock to the Instant Pot and then place the pork in. Attach the lid and ensure the valve is in the "sealing" position.
  • Set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook - Manual for 45 minutes.
  • Once the Instant Pot finishes cooking, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes.
  • Release any additional pressure by switching the valve to the "venting" position.
  • Remove the pork from the Instant Pot and shred it to your desired size.
  • Whisk the BBQ sauce into the chicken stock and then add the shredded pork back into the Instant Pot. Toss to combine.
  • Serve the pork on your choice of buns and enjoy.
  • Store any leftover pork in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
  • Add the chicken stock to the slow cooker and then place the pork in. Cover with lid and cook for 8 hours on LOW.
  • Once pork has cooked through, remove it and shred it to your desired size.
  • Whisk the BBQ sauce into the chicken stock and add the shredded pork back into the slow cooker. Toss to combine.
  • Serve the pork on your choice of buns and enjoy.
  • Store any leftover pork in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
