Everything you love about monster cookies is rolled into a no-bake, protein-packed granola bite great for quick afternoon snacks.

1 bag (11 oz) Nature Valley™ Protein oats 'n dark chocolate granola
1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate candies
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Before opening, use your hands to crush 1 package (11 oz) Nature Valley™ protein oats 'n dark chocolate crunchy granola in the bag and ensure large pieces are broken up; set aside. In large bowl, mix 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter and 1/3 cup honey until thoroughly mixed.
  • Open granola, and add to bowl, along with 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate candies, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 cup chopped pecans. Use wooden spoon to gently mix until evenly coated.
  • With small cookie scoop, drop small mounds onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Use your hands to reshape into balls, if necessary. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 week.

This recipe combines several favorite flavors—peanut butter, butterscotch and chocolate—in one big cookie. Before baking, I like to press a few extra M&M's on top for added color. —Patricia Schroedl, Jefferson, Wisconsin

Yield about 2-1/2 dozen.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup M&M's
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup salted peanuts
2 cups all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add baking soda and vanilla. Add oats, M&M's, butterscotch chips and peanuts; let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in flour (the dough will be crumbly)., Shape by 1/4 cupfuls into balls. Place on greased baking sheets, about 9 cookies on each sheet. Gently flatten cookies. Bake at 325° for 15-18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.
