CARAMELIZED PORK SLICES RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE IT

Steps:
- Cut tenderloin into 8 slices; pound each with a meat mallet to 1/2-in. thickness. In a nonstick skillet, heat 1 teaspoon oil over medium-high heat; brown pork on both sides. Remove from pan., In same skillet, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat; saute garlic 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients. Add pork, turning to coat; cook, uncovered, until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 3-4 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

In Canada, when we order chinese food, we always get this as an appetizer and I finally got this recipe right after much tweaking. It's flavour is right on and the pork is very tender. Does not include marinating time.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients except pork.
- Place pork and marinade in a ziplock bag.
- Keep in fridge 24 hours turning bag occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Place pork on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 25-30 minute.
- Let sit for 5 minute before slicing into medallions.
