BEST PORK 'N BEANS AND HAMBURGER CASSEROLE RECIPE - FOOD.COM
Adapted from an old Campbell's Pork 'N Beans recipe that was on the back of the can label. Since I couldn't find it, I found a different recipe that sounded similar and then tweeked it a bit. It makes a lot so you could easily reduce it half for an evening meal.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef in large skillet with diced onion and green pepper.
- Drain beef mixture and put into large dutch oven or large pot.
- Add all other in gredients and gently stir until everything is mixed together well.
- Cover and simmer over low heat for 1/2 hour.
- Serve warmed. Leftovers should be stored in covered container in refrigerator.

This is an old family recipe that is quick and easy to make. Kids will eat it up. It's good with salad, rolls or just by itself.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until beef is browned and veggies are tender.
- In an oven safe baking dish (we use an oven safe glass bowl) combine pork and beans, tomato soup, dry mustard, sugar, and salt and pepper.
- Drain ground beef mixture and add to bean mixture. Stir well.
- Bake for 40 minutes.

- In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, onions and bell peppers. Add the pork and beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar to the mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle the bacon over the top of the casserole. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes before serving.
