- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Combine the Italian seasoning and dried dill.
- Season an un-oiled baking dish with the dried herb mixture.
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Place the salmon in the seasoned un-oiled baking dish.
- Pour in milk enough to cover ¼ inch of the salmon
- Cover the fillets with bay leaves and onions. Season with the remaining herb mixture.
- Bake the salmon in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes until it becomes tender. Make sure to baste from time to time.
- Serve with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, and mixed vegetables.
