To make pizza without oven recipe, the dough is made with all-purpose flour and yeast to raise the flour and then knead well. Pizza sauce is prepared with tomato puree, sugar, red chilli, salt, mix herbs. Chicken is prepared according to the flavours of pizza which is being made. Then all these prepared parts are assembled. Baking time for pizza without oven recipe is only 10 minutes. Rising time of dough is 3-4 hours. Pizza is a traditional Italian dish consisting of yeasted flatbread topped with tomato sauce, cheese and any kind of meat and vegetables. Pizza is one of the most common fast foods in the world. Pizza is usually baked in the oven but nowadays different methods of baking pizza are being explored by cooking experts.

Number Of Ingredients 1

Dough Ingredients:

2-1/2 cup flour 2 tsp yeast 2 pinch sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1-2 tbsp olive or cooking oil

For Pizza Paste:

1-2 tbsp oil 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 onion, sliced 500 gm tomatoes, chopped 2 pinch oregano 2 pinch sugar Salt to taste

For Pizza Topping

150 gm boneless chicken Salt to taste 2 tbsp chilli sauce 2 spring onions with leaves, chopped 2 tomatoes without seeds, chopped 1 capsicum, chopped 8-10 olives 5 mushrooms, chopped 1/2 tsp red chili flakes 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

  • For dough:

    Just mix all the ingredients and knead them with water. Put it in room temperature covered for 3-4 hours till it becomes double in its size. For sauce: Fry onion and garlic in oil, add spices and tomatoes. Cook it for 2-3 minutes and then blend it in blender. You can also store this sauce in refrigerator. I also added the red chilli flakes in sauce. Fry the chicken in oil than add little water and cook till the chicken is done. Add chili sauce and salt in it. Remove from heat and add all vegetables in it. Add red chili flakes and 1/2 tsp oregano in it and mix it well. Now make a round pizza base from dough with the help of rolling pin. Preheat the pan on stove. Put the pizza base in pan and cover it, cook it on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Now take out the base from pan and apply the pizza sauce on other side, which is already cooked. Put chicken and vegetable mixture on it and then sprinkle both cheese on it. Put it in pan again and cook it covered for 15 minutes or till the pizza leaves the pan.

For the pizza dough:
300 g of flour (10.6oz)
Half a cup of warm water
5 g of yeast (0.2oz)
Salt to taste (if you want, you can add oregano too)
Olive oil
Pizza toppings:
4-6 tablespoons of tomato passata or pizza sauce
200 g of mozzarella cheese (7oz)
200 g of ham or bacon (7oz) (optional)
Vegetables like: olives, mushrooms, rocket, sweetcorn, etc.

Steps:

  • You can make your pizza without oven with any ingredients you like, adding your favourite vegetables to create a delicious dish to your taste. You can also replace the tomato sauce with a creamy sauce. It's your pizza - make it the way you like it!
  • To begin you need to make your pizza dough. Here is how to make pizza dough. Start by diluting the yeast in a little water, then add the oil. In a bowl, mix the salt and flour, make a well in the middle and pour in the water, yeast and oil mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are mixed into a dough.
  • Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a flat surface (table or counter) that is clean and dusted with a little flour. Knead the dough until it becomes completely smooth, elastic and pliable. This process can take 5 to 10 minutes. Place the dough back in the bowl, cover with flour and leave to stand until it has doubled in size, which may take an hour. Let it sit more if you can, up to 6 hours. The ideal is to leave the dough to rest in an area away from wind or cold; for example, in the microwave.
  • When the dough for making pizza without oven is ready, start to stretch it out on a clean, floured surface. Manipulate the dough into the shape of the pan you will be using - it shouldn't be larger than the pan - and then put the dough in your pan. Make sure the pizza is not to thick to make sure you pizza without oven cooks evenly in the pan.You can also stretch the dough directly into the pan you're going to cook it in.
  • Turn on the hob to a medium heat. It is important to cook a pizza without oven slowly, otherwise it will burn underneath while the top is still raw. Add all you toppings well and then cover the pan, allowing the heat and steam to cook the dough on top, as if it was an omelette.
  • Leave to cook for about 30 minutes, but check the base of the dough a couple of times at least to make sure it doesn't burn.
