This is an excellent pizza crust recipe. I have found it is really good when baked on a pizza stone.

Total Time 35 minutes

Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 20 minutes

Yield 1 -12 to 16 inch crust

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Stir water, sugar and yeast together until dissolved. Add the olive oil and the salt. Stir in the flour until well blended. Let dough rest for 10 minutes.n
  • Pat dough into pan or on to a pizza stone using fingers dipped in olive oil. If desired sprinkle basil, thyme or other seasonings on crust. Top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven.n

A crusty, chewy pizza crust! Our family's favorite! Try make two pizza crusts at once by removing the dough from the machine once it hits the rise cycle and place in a separate bowl. Now you are ready to begin the second crust!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 ¼ cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semolina flour
½ teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle.n
  • Remove after rise cycle and use with your favorite pizza recipe.n
