Quick, simple and packed with flavor, this homemade stromboli using pizza dough is a seriously delicious take on the cousin to pizza. With 15 minutes of prep time and 35 minutes total to make, our Easy Stromboli recipe will save you a whole lot of time spent in the kitchen and give you back a few more minutes to sit down and enjoy the meal with the fam.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Brown ground beef in medium skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Set aside.
- Unroll dough; place on sprayed cookie sheet. Starting at center, press out dough with hands to form 12x8-inch rectangle.
- Spread sauce over dough to within 2 inches of long sides and 1/2 inch of short sides. Place cooked ground beef lengthwise down center, forming 3-inch-wide strip and to within 1/2 inch of short sides. Top with cheese, bell pepper and Italian seasoning. Fold long sides of dough over filling; press edges to seal.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- Unroll dough onto cookie sheet. Spread dressing over dough to within 1 inch of edges. Layer half each of the salami and cheese lengthwise in 5-inch-wide strip down center of dough to within 1 inch of each short side, overlapping salami and cheese. Repeat layering with remaining salami and cheese.
- Fold long sides of dough over filling; pinch edges in center to seal. Fold ends under 1 inch; seal. Cut several slits in top for steam to escape.
- Bake 20 to 24 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cut crosswise into slices to serve.

- Preheat oven to 500° and grease two large baking sheets with cooking spray. Divide pizza dough into 4 pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll one piece of dough out into an 8" circle, about ¼" thick. Spoon pizza sauce in middle of dough, then dot with ricotta and top with pepperoni and mozzarella. Gently fold dough in half, dampen seams with water and pinch together, then crimp edges all around. Repeat with remaining dough. Transfer to prepared baking sheets. Brush tops with oil and sprinkle with salt. Using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife, slit tops in 2 to 3 spots to create steam vents. Bake until tops are golden and filling is bubbling, 20 minutes, brushing with more oil halfway through. Let cool 5 minutes before cutting open.
