1/4 cup butter, melted
3 tablespoons sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Generously spray 8 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits; set icing aside. Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces to make 48 pieces of dough. Dip dough pieces into melted butter, shaking off excess. Holding dough piece over small bowl, sprinkle pieces lightly with sugar. Arrange 6 sugar-coated biscuit pieces in each muffin cup.
  • Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown and dough is baked through. Cool 1 minute; loosen edges with thin metal spatula or sharp knife to remove.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave icing uncovered on High 5 to 10 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Serve biscuit pull-aparts warm, drizzled with icing.

3/4 cup fresh blueberries

Steps:

  • Heat waffle maker; grease generously with oil. Separate dough into 8 biscuits; set icing aside.
  • Place 2 biscuits at a time on hot waffle maker. Close lid of waffle maker; bake 2 to 3 minutes or until light golden brown. Carefully remove waffles. Repeat with remaining biscuits, greasing waffle maker between each set.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave icing uncovered on High 5 to 10 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle waffles with icing and maple syrup. Top with blueberries; serve warm.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or the temperature your package of biscuits specifies). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (not required, but helpful). Toss together the blueberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally, over medium high heat, for 3-4 minutes, or until the fruit is saucy but thick. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, or in the bowl of a stand mixer, using the whisk attachment, beat the cream cheese and optional powdered sugar until fluffy, about 1 minute. Split all of the biscuits in half and place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet, about 2” apart. Spoon about a tablespoon of cream cheese onto each biscuit. Then spoon about a tablespoon of the blueberry filling on top. Add the top half and press the edges to seal. Reserve any leftover blueberry filling for serving. Bake according to package instructions. Once the biscuit bombs are golden on top, brown the butter. Place it in a small saucepan and cook it over medium high heat until it melts, starts to crackle, and smells nutty. Careful not to burn it! Brush the browned butter over the baked biscuit bombs. Best served warm but will keep for several days in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
