A classic Philly cheesesteak, a mixture of sautéed steak and onions smothered in Cheese Whiz and wedged into a hoagie, can really make a crowd go nuts. Next time you’re craving one, though, skip the hoagie and try tossing that meat, onion, and cheese combination with fries. We don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced beef
1 1/2 cup frozen fries, baked or deep-fried
easy cheese, as needed
salt and black pepper, to taste

Steps:

Heat the butter in a small skillet to medium high. Add the onion and sauté until translucent and slightly golden brown around the edges. Add the beef and toss well. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until the beef is just medium rare, about 2 minutes.
Meanwhile, place the fries in a fry boat or shallow bowl. Drizzle the fries with a little bit of the Easy Cheese. Top the fries with the steak and onions mixture, and dress with more Easy Cheese.
