12 turkey wings
2 lemons, sliced into 1/4-inch-thick rounds 
3 tablespoons hot sauce, plus more for serving
Salt and ground black pepper
Salt and ground black pepper 
Paprika, for sprinkling 
Seasoned salt, for sprinkling 
2 white onions, sliced into 1/4-inch-thick rounds
2 green bell peppers, seeded and sliced into 1/4-inch-thick rounds

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Wash and clean the turkey wings by rinsing them under cold running water and then rubbing them with the lemon slices. Pat the wings dry and divide them between two roasting pans. With gloved hands, rub the hot sauce into the wings. Generously sprinkle the wings with salt, pepper, paprika and seasoned salt. Evenly distribute the onions and peppers between the roasting pans. Fill each pan with 4 cups water and cover tightly with foil.
  • Transfer the roasting pans to the oven and cook for 3 hours; uncover and cook for 1 hour more, or until the wings are well browned and tender. Serve with hot sauce.

1 quart Peanut Oil For Frying, no substitutions
1 pkt Chicken Wings (Second And Third Joints), Approx.12 Wings
1/2 c. Butter, No Substitutions
1/2 c. Frank's Red Warm Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
1 dsh Garlic Pwdr
1 dsh Pepper
    Ranch Or possibly Blue Cheese Dressing For Dipping
    Celery Sticks For Garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. Deepfry wings 10 to 12 at a time, till golden, approx. 10 to 12 min. Place wings on paper towels to drain. In a medium saucepan, heat butter. Add in red warm sauce, vinegar, garlic pwdr and pepper. Bring to a simmer and add in chicken wings. Toss wings in sauce for a few min. Serve with ranch or possibly blue cheese dressing with celery sticks for garnish. If desired your wings hotter add in additonal sauce (to taste) to the butter.
