KETO PEPPERONI PIZZA WITH FATHEAD CRUST RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
Even though this pizza is low-carb and keto-friendly, the whole family will devour it! It's also made without cream cheese! You can switch out the toppings for whatever you prefer. Note that the yeast is added solely for bread-like flavor in this recipe and not as a raising agent, since there is no sugar present to activate the yeast. Use your favorite no-sugar-added pizza sauce or marinara sauce. I highly recommend shredding your own mozzarella as the bagged variety doesn't melt well.

  • Heat a large, non-stick, ovenproof frying pan over a high heat and heat the grill to high, with a rack at the top. Once the frying pan is very hot, carefully slide the dough circle into the pan and, working quickly, spoon on some of the tomato sauce, swirling it to the edge, tear over some of the mozzarella and place the pepperoni slices on top. Cook on the hob, carefully lifting the base with a spatula every few minutes to check that the dough has crisped up and charred in places. Put the pan under the grill and cook until puffed, bubbling and charred. Carefully slide the pizza out of the pan, sprinkle over the basil leaves and drizzle with oil. Repeat with the remaining dough and toppings.

HEALTHY PEPPERONI SKILLET PIZZA RECIPE | COOKING LIGHT
This delicious, hearty pizza is far from light-tasting, but nutritionally it soars above most other options in the deep-dish pizza category. We cook it in a cast-iron skillet to help give it a deep-dish pizza look and feel. For a crisp, not soggy crust, the key is to start the crust on the stove top, then top it, and transfer it to the oven. Round out your meal with a side salad and your drink of choice.

  • Preheat oven to 450ºF. Sprinkle cornmeal evenly in bottom of a 10-inch cast-iron skillet. Stretch pizza dough to an 11-inch circle. Fit dough into bottom and up sides of skillet. Place skillet over medium-high heat on stovetop; cook until bottom of crust is dry and beginning to brown (pull crust slightly away from side of skillet to peek at it), about 8 minutes. Remove from heat; prick bottom of crust several times using a fork. Spread marinara sauce over crust in skillet; sprinkle with cheese and pepperoni. Brush crust edges with oil. Transfer to preheated oven; bake until crust is golden and cheese is melted and beginning to brown, about 10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes; slice. If desired, garnish with crushed red pepper.

PEPPERONI LOVER’S FRENCH BREAD PIZZA RECIPE - NYT COOKING
An easy no-cook sauce works as a tangy base for pizzas of all kinds. Draining the tomatoes before seasoning ensures the sauce won’t create any soggy bottoms, no matter what type of crust you build your pizza on. Use an equal amount of crushed or whole peeled tomatoes instead of diced if that’s what you have on hand. Just use your hands to break whole tomatoes up a bit (and drain off any additional liquid). The sauce will keep, tightly covered in the refrigerator, for about 5 days. But feel free to use your favorite jarred marinara in its place. Leftover pizza reheats beautifully in a 350-degree oven until warmed through.
