Total Time 30 minutes

Yield 2

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 bags black tea
500 g milk
100 g Shimizu
8 grams brown sugar
50 grams Cassava flour
40 grams water
Right amount Sugar

Steps:

  • Boil the milk, water and black tea bag until boiling, and use a spoon to keep stirring to prevent sticking to the pot. It also brews the taste of black tea. It can be boiled for about 5 minutes.
  • Melt the brown sugar with water,
  • Pour into the tapioca flour,
  • Stir to the dough, this feeling is that it looks thin, but in fact it doesn’t stick to the touch when you touch it, and it will form a dough.
  • Knead into small balls, the size is about the same as peanut kernels, too big to cook, too small to take effort, of course, if you like the size, it doesn’t matter.
  • Knead one and put it in the tapioca flour (the amount of tapioca flour is prepared separately), roll it to shape,
  • Add a proper amount of water to the pot and boil, put the rubbed pearls into the water, boil on high heat, then turn to medium and low heat and cook for about 15 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and simmer for 15 minutes,
    9.
  • Take out and rinse, and then soak in cold boiling water. When drinking, take an appropriate amount of pearls, add the previously cooked milk tea, and then add an appropriate amount of sugar, stir well, and you can taste.

BOBA (COCONUT MILK BLACK TEA WITH TAPIOCA PEARLS) RECIPE ...
Boba tea, or bubble tea, is a popular drink that originated from Taiwan. I made this coconut variation because I had coconut cream on hand and wanted something different from the regular black milk tea variation. This coconut version tastes just like the one you'll find in a bubble tea cafe.

BOBA MILK TEA RECIPE BY TASTY
This classic boba milk tea was inspired by my experiences walking around Taiwan. Every cup of boba milk tea had this signature condensed milk flavor that fused perfectly with the concentrated black tea. A lot of stands also use whole milk, so if you’re not a fan of condensed milk, whole milk will also give you an authentic taste of Taiwanese Boba Milk Tea! This drink is a thirst-quencher with a great caffeine kick. If you prefer your drinks to be less sweet, reduce the amount of brown sugar syrup or condensed milk during assembly. Don’t have muscovado sugar? Swap it out for brown sugar!

  • To Prep In a small pot, mix the sugar and water and bring the mixture to a boil before reducing to a simmer and continuing to cook until the syrup has begun to thicken. Remove the syrup from the heat and let cool slightly. While the syrup cools, begin to cook the tapioca pearls. In a large pot, boil water and cook the tapioca pearls according to packet instructions, or until they become soft and chewy. When they have reached the desired texture, remove them from the pot and drain them. Transfer the pearls in to a bowl and spoon in some of the sugar syrup and mix. Set aside. To make the tea, combine hot water with tea and steep for 5 mins before removing tea and adding in the milk. To Serve Line the inside of the serving glass with some of the sugar syrup and then spoon in some of the pearls. Finish by pouring in the milk tea and ice if needed and serve!
