Sink your teeth into these sweet and sticky peanut butter chews! They make the perfect afternoon energy snacks and takes only a few minutes to make.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup clear corn syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1½ cups crunchy or smooth peanut butter peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups corn flakes cereal

Steps:

  • Put the sugar and syrup in a saucepan, stir, then heat to a boil.
  • Remove from heat, then add the peanut butter and vanilla.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • In a big mixing bowl, pour over the corn flakes. Combine gently to cover the corn flakes.
  • Drop the mixture by teaspoon onto a baking tray lined with foil.
  • Allow to cool and set up for 1 hour.
  • Serve, and enjoy!

4 cups corn flakes
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut butter

Steps:

  • Put corn flakes in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  • Bring corn syrup and sugar to boil in medium pan.
  • Remove from heat and add peanut butter, mix well.
  • Pour mixture over cereal and quickly mix well.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
  • Let cool. Place in airtight container.
