5-Minute Dough - Recipes | Pampered Chef US Site image

This versatile dough comes together quickly and is simple to customize with your favorite herbs, zest, or pesto! Use it on a Grill Stone, in a conventional oven, or in a Waffle Puff Pan.

Yield 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

1½ cups (375 mL) flour, plus additional as needed
1½ tsp (7 mL) baking powder
½ tsp (2 mL) salt
¼ tsp (1 mL) baking soda
1 cup (250 mL) 2% plain low-fat Greek yogurt
Flavoring (optional, see cook's tip)
¼ tbsp (7 mL) olive, canola or vegetable oil to grease stone

Steps:

  • In large bowl, combine dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in yogurt and flavoring (if desired); mix until combined (mixture will look dry).Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead dough 4 minutes, sprinkling with additional flour as needed. Shape dough into a ball. FOR GRILLING FOR WAFFLE PUFF PAN • Preheat grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat. • Roll dough into a 12” (30-cm) circle on a Pastry Mat using a lightly floured Baker’s Roller®. Brush Rockcrok Grill Stone with oil and transfer the dough onto the grill stone. Roll out dough to edges. Pierce entire surface of dough using pastry tool. • Place Grill Stone on the grill. Grill, covered, 9-13 minutes or until bottom of crust is golden brown, rotating Grill Stone halfway through grill time. Remove Grill Stone from grill. • Flip crust and top with your favorite toppings. Grill 4-6 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown. Remove Grill Stone from grill. • Divide dough in half and roll out each ball of dough onto the Pastry Mat to 8” (20 cm) discs. • Pre-heat Waffle Puff Pan on medium heat for 2 minutes. Flip and heat for 1 minute. Spray both sides of the waffle maker with oil using the Kitchen Spritzer. • Place the dough in the waffle maker and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip the waffle maker over and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat this step with the remaining piece of dough. Remove with Nylon Fork.

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 cup (250 mL) all-purpose flour, plus additional as needed
1/2 cup (125 mL) salt
1/2 cup (125 mL) warm water

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 225°F (107°C).Add the flour, salt, and water to the Mixing Bowl. Stir with the Funny Face Kitchen Scraper until well blended. Let stand 3 minutes. (See Cook’s Tip). Move the dough to a well-floured floured surface. Roll the dough out with a rolling pin until it’s ¼” (6 mm) thick (see Cook’s Tip).Lightly dip the Emoji Cookie Cutters in flour. Cut out as many ornaments as you can. Using the Mini Nylon Turner to move the ornaments to a cookie sheet.Using a drinking straw or skewer, cut a hole in the top of the ornaments.Bake 2½ hours, turning ornaments over halfway through the bake time. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven to a cooling rack. Using the turner, transfer the ornaments to the cooling rack. When completely cooled, decorate as desired (see Cook’s Tip).

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Using Food Chopper, chop bell pepper and onion. In (10-in.) Sauté Pan, heat oil over medium heat 1-3 minutes or until shimmering. Press garlic into oil using Garlic Press. Add bell pepper, onion and 1/2 teaspoon of the oregano leaves. Cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove Pan from heat. Unroll 1 pizza crust onto lightly floured surface. Using lightly floured Baker’s Roller®, roll out crust to 12” x 9” rectangle; cover with half of the beef, cheese and vegetable mixture to within 1/2 inch of edges of dough. Starting at longest side of rectangle, roll up dough, jelly-roll fashion; press seam together to seal. Repeat with remaining crust and filling ingredients. Place rolls, seam sides down, on Large Round Stone with Handles. Join ends of rolls together to form 1 large ring; press ends together to seal. In small bowl, combine egg white and water; brush onto dough using Chef’s Silicone Basting Brush. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon oregano. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting with Slice ‘N Serve®.

  • Divide one package of softened sugar cookie dough in half. Place half in a Classic Batter Bowl and add flour, incorporating the dough and flour with the Mix 'N Scraper®. As some of the other readers posted, it's used to stretch out dough into a pan, hence the different size on each end. Mine has a little pick tucked in the handle. It looks like a tiny fork, and that is used to make "breathing" holes into the dough.
