There are surprisingly a lot of people that have not tried using Palmetto Cheese instead of sliced cheese when making grilled cheese sandwiches. You will not be disappointed in the taste and you might rethink ever using sliced cheese again.Other tasty additions to this sandwich are bacon and tomato slices.

Steps:
- Preheat a saute pan on medium heat.
- Spread your desired amount of Palmetto Cheese onto a slice of bread.
- Top with another slice of bread.
- Spread the top and bottom of your pimento cheese sandwich with butter or mayo. It's a matter of personal preference.
- Place the sandwich into the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Be mindful of the heat. If you put a good amount of Palmetto Cheese on your bread, it will take a little longer to get nice and melted. Medium heat should keep the bread from getting too dark before the cheese melts.

- Place the Cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, minced jalapeno, and pimento into the large bowl of a mixer. Beat at medium speed, with paddle if possible, until thoroughly combined. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
