1 (12 ounce) jar orange marmalade
½ cup orange juice
½ cup water
2 cups cooked chicken, grilled or roasted
1 large orange, washed and thinly sliced
1 cup frozen sugar snap peas, thawed
2 cups cooked Minute® White Rice or Minute® Brown Rice

Steps:

  • In a small sauce pan add in: marmalade, orange juice and water. Simmer until blended and reduced about 50%. It should be like syrup.
  • Add chicken, orange slices and peas until all are hot.
  • Serve over rice. If desired, sprinkle with slivered almonds.

When we say easy, we mean it! This orange chicken and fried rice recipe has just 3 steps before you're enjoying a delicious hot meal.

1 (29-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee frozen fully cooked popcorn chicken
1 (11.8-oz.) bottle Culinary Tours orange sauce
0.25 c. of Culinary Tours sweet Thai-style chili sauce
1 tbsp. of orange zest
1 tbsp. of fresh orange juice
1.5 (1-qt.) containers Hy-Vee Kitchen fried rice
0 Green onions

Steps:

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spread popcorn chicken in a single layer on large rimmed baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until very crispy, stirring halfway through. Transfer chicken to a large bowl. 

  • 2.

    Combine orange sauce, chili sauce, and orange zest and juice in a small saucepan; heat over medium-low heat until warm, stirring occasionally. Reheat fried rice in the microwave if needed. 

  • 3.

    Pour sauce over chicken; toss to coat. Serve over fried rice. Garnish with green onions, if desired.
