NUT-FREE GRANOLA RECIPE | SIDECHEF
I love sprinkling this gronola over my yogurt. It adds a nice crunch and a little bit of sweetness. If you like eating granola as a cereal, then I would add 1/4 cup chopped, dried fruit and then double or triple the recipe. I suggest making only what you will eat because it only last about 2 weeks.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C), and arrange a rack in the middle. Place Honey (1 tablespoon), Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (1 cup), and Vegetable Oil (1 tablespoon) in a small bowl, and stir to combine. Pour over the Vanilla Extract (1/2 teaspoon) and mix until coated.
- Sprinkle the oats with Brown Sugar (1 tablespoon), Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon), and Salt (1/8 teaspoon). Stir to combine. Make sure oats are coated evenly.
- Spread mixture in a thin, even layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes, then sitr.
- Bake until light golden brown, 5-15 minutes more.
- Let cool for 20 minutes, and then store in an airtight container. Enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine oats, spelt flour, wheat germ, brown sugar, chia seeds, ground flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine applesauce, honey, banana, egg, and dates in a blender; blend until very smooth. Pour over the oat mixture and mix well.
- Scoop granola mixture into the pan. Press down firmly with wet hands to spread evenly in the pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until very lightly browned, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes. Cut into bars. Cool completely before lifting from the pan, about 30 minutes.
