100 g

pancetta, diced 

300 g

new potatoes, thinly sliced

onion, finely diced 

1

red pepper, deseeded and finely diced 

1

carrot, finely diced

1

(415g) tin baked beans 

1

(400g) tin chopped tomatoes

1 tsp.

Dijon mustard 

1 tbsp.

Worcestershire sauce 

1

beef stock cube or stock pot 

1/2 tsp.

salt

2

bay leaves 

Handful chopped parsley 

Crusty bread, to serve 

Steps:

  • Heat a heavy bottomed casserole dish over medium heat. Add oil, sausages and pancetta. Cook for 5-6 minutes until sausages are browned. Add the onion, carrot, pepper  and potato to the pan and cook for a further 5 minutes until softened. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add tin of chopped tomatoes, baked beans and stock cube. Stir in the dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves. Cook on high for four hours, or eight hours on low. Stir in the chopped parsley and salt. Serve with crusty bread.

2 Lbs Turkey Wings1 Cup Onions, coarsely chopped1/2 Cup Green Peppers, coarsely chopped2 Tbs Butter4 Tbs All-Purpose Flour10 oz Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup1 Cup Turkey Broth2 Tsps Seasoning Salt1 Tsp Garlic Powder1 Tsp Onion Powder1/2 Tsp Ground Sage1/2 Tsp Dried Thyme1/2 Tsp Dried Rosemary1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
 

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the crockpot: Turn the crockpot to high heat and close the lid.2. Season both sides of the turkey wings.3. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add in the butter.4. Once melted, add in the turkey wings and sear on each side for 3 to 4 minutes, then remove and add them to the crockpot.5. Add the onions and peppers to the skillet and saute for 2 minutes, then remove and add to the crockpot with the turkey wings.6. Slurry for gravy: In a big bowl, combine the turkey broth, cream of chicken, and flour, then stir well.7. Pour the slurry into the crockpot over the turkey wings, cover with a lid, and cook for 3-1/2 to 4 hrs. 8. After 2 hrs, open the lid, move the turkey wings around and stir the gravy. Then close the lid and let them continue cooking until done.
