"No matter how many different biscuit recipes we try, my family thinks these are the best. They are also easy to make and no rolling out the dough."

1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 /4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar

Steps:

  • "Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add remaining ingredients. Mix till smooth and drop by tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet or fill 12 muffin tins 2 /3 full. Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 375. "

The mayonnaise and milk give these biscuits a very moist flavor. That is why they are so popular, especially among children. The "mystery" is the addition of the mayo.

1 tablespoon(s) baking powder
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
1 cup(s) milk
1 teaspoon(s) sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat overn to 375 F. Grease a baking sheet or twelve muffin cups and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Blend in the mayonnaise, milk and sugar until the mixture is creamy.
  • Drop the dough by the spoonful onto the prepared pan or fill the muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes. Makes 12.
