MOVIE NIGHT COOKIES RECIPES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375° and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
• In a medium bowl combine 1 cup  Peanut Butter & Co. Simply Smooth and powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Scoop into small balls (about 1 1/2") and freeze.
• In a large bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer,  combine 1/2 cup Peanut Butter & Co. Simply Smooth, butter, and sugars and beat on medium until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until just combined.
• Scoop a  tablespoon of  cookie dough and flatten into a circle. Place the frozen ball of Peanut Butter & Co. Simply Smooth on top. Fold the edges of the dough around the ball and pinch the edges together to seal, adding more dough if necessary to cover the frozen PB ball completely.
• Repeat until all dough is used, spacing the cookies about 2” apart.
• Bake until the cookies are golden on the bottom,12 to 15 minutes.
• Immediately upon removing from the oven, lightly push popcorn and nonpareil candies into the top of each cookie.
• Serve while still warm for the most ooey-gooey center!

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350 F.
• Use a stand mixer to beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, egg and vanilla in large bowl until fluffy. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
• Gradually add the dry ingredients to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in the two types of candies.
• Drop a tablespoon of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper with SmartGrid®.
• Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly browned. Carefully press 2–3 pieces popcorn into the top of each cookie.
• Place the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
