- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray; lightly flour.
- In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed until moistened, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat on high speed 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally. Spread batter evenly in pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over top.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Spoon marshmallow creme evenly over top of hot cake; return to oven for 30 to 60 seconds or until soft. Carefully spread marshmallow creme to cover cake.
- In small bowl, mix frosting and enough milk until smooth and spreading consistency. Drop frosting by spoonfuls onto cake; spread gently to cover, then lightly swirl to marble. Cool cake completely, about 1 hour.

Steps:
- Prepare brownie mixes according to package directions, stirring in chopped pecans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- While brownie mix is baking combine powdered sugar, milk, butter and cocoa. Beat all ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
- When brownie mix cake is done, remove from oven.
- Top warm cake evenly with marshmallows.
- Return to oven and bake 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and drizzle chocolate frosting over warm cake.

- Mississippi Mud Cupcakes: Prepare pecans and Mississippi Mud Cake batter as directed. Spoon batter evenly into 24 paper-lined muffin cups. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until puffed. Sprinkle evenly with 2 cups miniature marshmallows, and bake 5 more minutes or until golden. Remove from oven, and cool cupcakes in muffin pans 5 minutes. Remove cupcakes from pans, and place on wire rack. Drizzle warm cakes evenly with 1 1/4 cups Chocolate Frosting, and sprinkle with toasted pecans. Reserve remaining 3/4 cup frosting for another use. Note: To serve remaining Chocolate Frosting over pound cake or ice cream, microwave reserved 3/4 cup Chocolate Frosting in a medium-size microwave-safe glass bowl at HIGH 15 seconds or until warm.
