500 g Turkey Mince (low fat)
1 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
3 Bay Leaves
6 Green Cardamom (crushed)
1 Onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
2 Green Chilli
2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Ground Turmeric
1 tsp Ground Coriander
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
200 g Chopped Tomatoes
1 Cup Water
1 cup Frozen Peas
1 tsp Salt (to taste)

Steps:

  • In a large pan, add the oil to medium-high heat.
  • Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, and crushed green cardamon. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the onions, garlic, ginger paste, and green chilies. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the turkey mince and stir.
  • Add the ground spices: garam masala, cumin, turmeric, red chili, and ground coriander.
  • Continue to stir and add chopped tomatoes.
  • Add frozen peas and water.
  • Cover for low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Set on medium heat and cook for another 5 minutes.
