SALTED HONEY PIE – MI-DEL COOKIES



Salted Honey Pie – MI-Del Cookies image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 MI-DEL® Gluten Free Graham Style Pie Crust
2 cups (480ml) Better Than Milk® Organic Oat Drink (, divided)
1 packet (7g) unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup honey
1/4 tsp fine sea salt
1 pinch flaky sea salt (for sprinkling)

Steps:

  • In a small bowl or glass, combine 1 cup Better Than Milk Oat Milk with the gelatin. Mix well and set aside to bloom for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine the remaining oat milk, honey, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring consistently, until honey has melted and incorporated into the mixture. Remove from heat.
  • Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm oat milk mixture. Allow to cool completely, then pour the filling into the pie crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving.

1 MI-DEL Graham Style Pie Crust
3/4 cup sugar
2 8 oz. packages cream cheese (, at room temperature)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup strawberry fruit spread
1 quart fresh strawberries (, hulled)

Steps:

  • Preheat over to 350 F
  • In large bowl, cream sugar, cream cheese and vanilla; add eggs one at a time (do not over mix)
  • Pour into Graham Style Pie Crust and bake for 50 minutes.
  • Cool cheesecake to room temperature.
  • Heat strawberry spread in microwave safe bowl for 15 seconds and stir to soften
  • Arrange strawberries on top with pointed ends up.
  • Spoon melted spread over fresh berries and serve.
