Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup melted butter or margarine
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cups flour
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar

Steps:

Beat whole eggs in bowl until thick.
Beat in milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl then sift into the liquid mixture and beat well.
If the mixture seems a little thick, add in an additional tablespoon of milk.
Follow your waffle maker's instructions to bake waffles with mixture and serve with desired toppings.

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (if you use sweetened, omit tablespoon of sugar)
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoon melted butter

1/4 teaspoon Fiori di Sicilia extract OR 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon peel plus 1/2 teaspoon of finely grated orange peel
1 teaspoon sugar
