MCCORMICK HAM GRAVY MIX RECIPES
ROUND STEAK AND GRAVY II RECIPE | ALLRECIPES

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Trim the fat from the steak, and cut into desired number of servings.
- In a roasting pan over medium high heat, sear both sides of the steak, about 1 minute per side. Remove from heat.
- Stir the cream of mushroom soup, French onion soup and water into the roaster. Bake in the preheated oven 2 1/2 hours.

My mother learned how to make this while we lived in Nashville many years ago, and it is now a family favorite. Good old-fashioned sausage gravy. It's her most requested recipe from family and friends alike. Serve over biscuits or toast.

Steps:
- Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.n
- Mix bacon grease into the sausage drippings. Reduce heat to medium, combine with flour, and stir constantly until mixture just turns golden brown.n
- Gradually whisk milk into skillet. When the mixture is smooth, thickened, and begins to bubble, return the sausage to skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 minutes.n
