I'd like to share Japanese desserts. This recipe is no bake; just mix all ingredients and sit it in refrigerator and so easy to make. Enjoy my favorite recipe!

1?? cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs
3?½ tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
7 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
6 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon white sugar
7 ounces mascarpone cheese
3 tablespoons matcha green tea powder, plus more for dusting
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
3 tablespoons warm water
1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar for dusting
3 strawberries, sliced

Steps:

  • Stir graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together in a bowl until moistened; press crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a 7-inch round springform pan. Place pan in refrigerator until cold, about 20 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese and 6 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon sugar together in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth; beat in mascarpone cheese. Stir 3 tablespoons green tea powder into cheese mixture.
  • Beat cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
  • Stir gelatin into warm water in a small bowl until dissolved. Stir gelatin mixture into cream cheese mixture; pour mixture over refrigerated graham cracker crust. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, at least 4 hours.
  • Dust top of tiramisu with green tea powder and confectioners' sugar; decorate with sliced strawberries.

TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: Tiramisu (?????) is our favourite dessert, and it's probably yours too. There are many Tiramisu recipes out there but very few are as good as this Japanese Tiramisu Recipe made with Matcha Green Tea instead of Coffee. Matcha Tiramisu ( ??????? ) is not really a thing in Japan. Virtually all Tiramisu' sold in convenient stores, restaurants and shops are coffee based as Italian Food is the most loved foreign food in Japan, but it's nice to change from time to time. For this recipe we will not use Teriyaki sauce, although, you are free to add it. It's mouthwateringly delicious, but may take some practice.

1 cup Mascarpone Cheese
About 30 Savoiadri Biscuits
4 Egg Yolks
0.5 cup Hot Water
0.5 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Marsala Wine
1.5 tablespoon Matcha

Steps:

  • Combine the Hot Water and Matcha Powder and whisk until the Tea is lump-free. Set Aside.
  • Separate the 4 Eggs and put the Yolks and the Whites into 2 separate large bowls.
  • Add half of the Sugar into the Egg Yolks and beat until the Sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is creamy.
  • Mix Yolks and Mascarpone together.
  • Now, beat the Egg Whites along with the other half of the Sugar until it all becomes spongy and it has formed stiff peaks.
  • Fold the bowls delicately together and mix just until the Yolk and White Mixtures have well combined. From now on we'll refer to this as, Cream Mixture...
