PERFECT RED APPLE MARTINI | JUST A PINCH RECIPES
I've tried many red apple martinis and found out that simple is best! I don't like powder mixes and I don't like martinis that are too sour...so this was perfect! I don't know why, but the cranberry juice, along with the sour apple pucker and vodka, tricks your pallet into thinking its tasting a red apple! If you leave out the cranberry juice, then you'll have a green apple martini! But red apple is my favorite! I added my photo!

The original Martini, which is made with sweet Italian vermouth, sugar syrup, and orange bitters, lost out to the type made with just dry French vermouth, but it is still an excellent drink. This recipe, adapted from the estimable _The Old Waldorf Astoria Bar Book_ (1935) by Albert Stevens Crockett, calls for Old Tom Gin, which is sweeter than dry gin. Since Old Tom isn't easy to find nowadays, we've substituted a combination of dry gin and simple syrup.
