Beef Manchurian is a tasty irresistible Chinese dish prepared using sauces. Beef Manchurian is a thick spicy tempting dish that goes well with rice dishes, naan, roti etc. Beef Manchurian is unique and special with cooked beef marinated with spicy ingredients and fried. Number Of Ingredients 23

1 kg Beef
1 inch ginger
3 cloves garlic
salt to taste
2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilly powder
FOR MARINATING
1 tsp Soya sauce
2 tsp chilli sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour
1 tablespoon maida
1 egg
FOR MAKING GRAVY
3 Onion
1 inch ginger
3 cloves garlic
6 green chilly
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp chilly sauce
2 tsp tomato sauce
oil as needed
1 capsicum

Steps:

  • For preparing Beef Manchurian, first cook beef in a pressure cooker using turmeric powder, chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder and salt.
  • Wait for 5 to 6 whistles and when its cooked, turn off the flame.
  • Then marinate the beef(keep the beef stock we need this for our gravy) using cornflour, maida, chilly sauce, soya sauce and egg. Keep it for 20 minutes.
  • Then heat a pan, add oil and when its hot start frying our beef.
  • When its brown take it out.
  • And keep in a plate or casserole.
  • Then heat the same pan or take another and add oil and add ginger, garlic and green chilly sliced to it, saute it well and then add onion to it.
  • Stir it for 2 minutes and then add the sauces.
  • Then add the fried beef.
  • Mix it well.
  • Then add the beef stock to it
  • Add salt if needed, close the pan and keep in low flame, wait for 5 minutes.
  • Wait till gravy becomes thick.
  • Add capsicum to it.
  • Mix it well
  • Our dish, Beef Manchurian is ready to serve.

Beef manchurian with beef burger

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 nos Beef Burger (frozen)
1 no Capsicum (cut into pieces)
1 no Onion (cut into cubes)
4 nos Garlic pods
Spring onion (A few, chopped)
2 tsp Corn flour (mix in 50 ml water)
2 tsp Soya sauce
1 tsp Tomato sause
1 tbsp Veg oil
1 pinch Sugar
Salt (care must be taken while adding salt because soya suce, and beef burger are already salty)

Steps:

  • Cut frozen beef burger into long strips.
  • Shallow fry them in a tawa with 1 tbsp of oil.
  • Remove the fried beef from oil.
  • Saute onion, garlic and capsicum.
  • When onion becomes tender, add tomato sauce, soya sauce and sugar and stir well.
  • Add salt and fried beef burger.
  • When the above mix becomes dry, add corn flour mixed with water and chopped spring onion.
  • Cover the tawa and cook for another 2 mins.
  • :- You can add more vegetables like carrot, cauliflower so on.
  • :- You should fry the beef burger before it defreezes.
