LOTUS ROOT TEA – TEMPURA-TE

Number Of Ingredients 3

750 ml water
6 slices lotus root (if you're using dry root you'll have to soak it for some 30min and then use the water of soaking)
2 slices fresh ginger

Steps:

  • Put all the ingredients in a pot and bring to the medium heat.
  • When it starts to boil, lower the heat to a minimum and cook for 20 minutes. It is important that the fire is very weak so that the water does not boil and the roots do not lose their properties.
  • Drink the tea while is hot.
