That's right – onions four ways make this hot dog recipe one for the books.Of course, no grilled hot dog is complete without the perfect vessel. Everything hot dog buns are the backyard cookout staple you never knew you needed. Sprinkled with everything-but-the-bagel seasoning and baked to perfection, this hot dog bun beautifully compliments the already-tasty flavor of the summer dish. Not convinced you should give this recipe a try? With less than 30 minutes of hands-on time, this is the ideal dish to serve a crowd. Set up a hot dog bar for a carefree and low-maintenance meal.

- Preheat oven to 325°F. Open hot dog buns and place browned side up on a rimmed baking sheet. Brush with egg whites and sprinkle evenly with everything seasoning. Bake in preheated oven until whites are dried and seasoning sticks to buns, 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack, about 10 minutes.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Place onions on grill and grill until charred on one side, about 5 minutes. Flip onions and add hotdogs to grill. Cook onions until charred on second side, about 5 minutes; grill hotdogs, turning often, until charred and heated through, about 5 minutes. Remove onions from grill and wrap in foil until ready to serve. Remove hotdogs from grill and wrap in foil. Keep warm until ready to serve.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly into each of the 4 hotdog buns and top with warm hotdogs. Cut charred onions with scissors or a knife into small bite-size pieces and evenly sprinkle onto hotdogs. Top each hotdog evenly with pickled onions, fried onions, green onions, and creole mayonnaise.
