6 -8 medium potatoes
2 ounces Lipton Onion Soup Mix (2 packages)
3 -4 tablespoons olive oil
black pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste

Steps:

Wash potatoes and cut into 1 inch pieces, leaving the skin on.
Add the potatoes, soup mixes, and olive oil to a large bowl and toss to coat.
Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and arrange potatoes in a single layer.
Use two pans if you need to keep from crowding.
Top potatoes with any oil/soup mix left in the bowl. Season with black pepper and garlic to taste.
Bake at 425 for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping once halfway through cooking.
Serve with sour cream and chives.

"Put baking sheet (I use a Lodge cast iron pizza pan) into oven. Preheat oven to 450F. Scrub and cut 2 pounds of small red potatoes into medium sized chunks. Put potatoes into a ziplock bag and add 1 package of Lipton powdered ranch dip mix. Close bag and shake to coat. Open bag and add 1/4 cup of Olive Oil. Close bag and shake again to coat. When oven is at temperature spread potatoes evenly in a single layer. Preheating the pan gives gives the potatoes a nice crust.
