Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 225°. Mix salt and lime zest until well combined; spread into a parchment-lined 15x10-1-in. baking pan., Bake until mixture is dry, about 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

1 tsp chipotle chile powder
2 limes
2 tablespoons flaky sea salt

Steps:

  • Toss sea salt and chile powder on a baking sheet. Finely zest limes over. Bake in a 350° oven, stirring occasionally, until lime zest is dry, about 5 minutes. Let cool.
