Air Fryer Pot Roast. How to cook a pot roast in the air fryer. Load the air fryer with a beef roast, carrots, and potatoes for a delicious one pot easy air fryer meal.

Air Fryer
1.2 Kg top round roast/topside
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
4 Tbsp Worcester Sauce
4 Large Carrots
5 Medium Potatoes
4 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

Steps:

  • Slightly score your beef roast. Toss the beef in soy sauce and half the Worcester sauce. Season with salt and pepper, making sure the seasoning gets into the scored sections. Load into the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes at 180c/360f.
  • While cooking peel and dice your carrots and roast potatoes. Load into a bowl and toss in the rest of the Worcester sauce, maple syrup, olive oil and a little more salt and pepper.
  • When the air fryer beeps add the carrots and potatoes into the gaps.
  • Cook for a further 45 minutes at 160c/320f.
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes then slice and serve.

Air Fryer
1 Kg Rump Roast
1 Tsp Thyme
300 g Potatoes
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tsp Rosemary
Salt & Pepper
300 g Frozen Root Vegetables (optional)
Frozen Yorkshire Puddings (optional)

Steps:

  • Score the rump roast and season well with salt, pepper, and thyme. Place in the air fryer basket.
  • In a bowl add peeled and sliced roast potatoes. Add salt, pepper, rosemary, and extra virgin olive oil and mix with your hands. Place in the gaps in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes at 160c/320f.
  • When the air fryer beeps remove the roast potatoes and put to one side. Turn the rump roast, season the other side, and add frozen vegetables into the gaps. Air fry for a further 25 minutes for medium or 35 minutes for well done.
  • When the air fryer beeps plate up the roasted vegetables, allow the rump to rest and load the air fryer with frozen Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, and gravy. Cook for a further 3 minutes at the same temperature.
  • Slice your roast beef. Serve and enjoy.
