Crescent Roll Leftover Chicken Recipe | Allrecipes image

Great recipe! I use this with any leftover chicken I have.

cooking spray
2 (4 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 ounces shredded cooked chicken breast, or to taste
½ cup sour cream
1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 10x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Separate crescent roll dough along perforations into individual portions.
  • Mix chicken and sour cream together in a bowl; spoon equal amounts into the center of each crescent roll dough portion; roll dough around the chicken mixture and lay into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake rolls in preheated oven for 5 minutes. Pour chicken soup over the rolls and bake another 10 minutes. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over the rolls and continue baking until the cheese melts completely, about 10 minutes more.

This easy casserole is so delicious and is a great way to serve leftover turkey and all the trimmings.

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups prepared stuffing (any flavor)
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked turkey
1/2 cup turkey gravy
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet or 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
1 cup canned whole berry cranberry sauce

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In 3-quart saucepan, mix stuffing, turkey and gravy. Cook over medium-high heat until hot, stirring constantly. Spoon into ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish.
  • Unroll dough; cut dough crosswise into 4 rectangles (if using crescent rolls, press perforations to seal). Place rectangles over stuffing, leaving space between rectangles for steam to escape.
  • Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until crescents are golden brown. Serve topped with cranberry sauce.
