1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Using Purchased Minced Garlic
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
1/2 teaspoon purchased minced garlic
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Using Fresh Garlic
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
1/8 teaspoon onion powder

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients for desired garlic butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed.
  • Store refrigerated in container with tight-fitting lid for up to 2 weeks.

Cheesy Grilled Garlic & Herb Bread Recipe | Land O’Lakes image

French bread spread with our Garlic & Herb Spread, then topped with Deli American, is wrapped in foil and grilled. A perfect complement to any summer meal.

1 (8-ounce) loaf (10-inch) French bread
6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Butter Spread
4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American cut in half diagonally

Steps:

  • Heat gas grill to medium-low or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Place coals to one side of charcoal grill.
  • Cut 8 diagonal slices almost through bread. Spread each slice with 1/2 tablespoon Garlic & Herb Butter Spread. Place 1 half-slice American into each cut.
  • Spread remaining garlic & herb butter over top of loaf.
  • Wrap loaf in aluminum foil. Place opposite heat on grill. Close lid; grill 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasty. Serve immediately.
