Add a flavorful crunch to your pork meat with this special and easy homemade Shake and Bake pork chops seasoning mix.

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 cups Bread crumbs
¼ cup Vegetable Oil
2 tsp table salt
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp celery salt
¾ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp Garlic Salt
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
6 bone in, ½-inch thick pork chops

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • In a large ziploc bag, add the breadcrumbs, oil, salt, paprika, celery salt, black pepper, garlic salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Close the bag and rub all the ingredients together until fully mixed.
  • Add one pork chop to the bag at a time and close with some air trapped inside.
  • Shake gently until covered.
  • Repeat with each piece of pork.
  • Place on a sheet pan and bake in the oven for 15 minutes then turn the pork chops over, and bake 10 more minutes.

4 cups water
1 box (1 lb) uncooked elbow macaroni
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 oz Kraft Velveeta® original cheese product, cut into small cubes
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Spray 6-quart Instant Pot® insert with cooking spray. Add water, macaroni and salt to insert; stir.
  • Secure lid; set pressure valve to SEALING. Select MANUAL; cook on high pressure 5 minutes. Select CANCEL. Set pressure valve in VENTING position to release pressure. Add milk, mustard, pepper, cheeses and 2 tablespoons butter. Carefully stir until cheeses are melted.
  • Meanwhile, in 8- or 10-inch skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Stir in bread crumbs and garlic powder. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Sprinkle over macaroni and cheese before serving.
