RECIPE KIT KAT AND SMARTIES BIRTHDAY CAKE - FRIJE

You've already met or even tasted one of those pretty birthday cake at Kit Kat. Gourmand and chocolate, this dessert is a real pleasure for both taste buds and pupils. We invite you to learn how to make this beautiful cake Kit Kat in a jiffy. Easy and delicious, it will meet a great success!

Number Of Ingredients 15

8 egg
360 g of powdered sugar
150 g of powdered almonds
200 g of dark chocolate
180 g of butter
160 g of flour
1 bag of baking powder
2 tablespoon of thick cream
50 g of cocoa powder
200 g of black chocolate
250 g of mascarpone
210 g of icing sugar
60 g of butter
5 bag of Kit Kat
8 bag of Smarties

Steps:

  • Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the powdered sugar until the mixture whitens. Add the soft butter and mix well to obtain a smooth paste. Add the almond powder. Mix. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or bain-marie. Stir in order to obtain a homogeneous appliance. Add the melted chocolate to the mixture. Stir in sifted flour and yeast while stirring to avoid lumps. Add the crème fraiche and bitter cocoa. Mix well. Beat the egg whites to firm snow with an electric mixer. With a maryse, gently add to the preparation. Divide the cake batter into 2 round molds of the same size, lightly oiled. Bake the cakes for 30 minutes. (Preheated oven at 180 ° C). Check the cooking with a knife blade: it must come out clean and dry. Unmold the cakes on a rack and let them cool. Prepare the dark chocolate ganache. For this, crush the dark chocolate and place it in a saucepan. Melt in a bain-marie. Meanwhile, beat the soft butter in a bowl. Add the mascarpone and the icing sugar. Mix well. Finally, add the melted dark chocolate and mix gently. Arrange a first cake in a presentation dish. Cover the entire surface with chocolate ganache. Arrange the second cake over it. Cover with chocolate ganache. Separate the Kit Kat bars and arrange them all around the cake. Wrap the cake with a ribbon to hold the Kat Kit. Cover the top of the cake with Smarties. Reserve in the fridge until tasting.
