KFC MASHED POTATO BOWL RECIPES

Steps:

• Since you will be preparing multiple items at once, you need to set out all the ingredients first and read their instructions. Below is how mine laid out but yours might be a little bit different!
• The popcorn chicken will take the longest so start that first. We use our air fryer to cook ours but you can also prepare according to package instructions. Once it's cooked, set aside until ready to assemble your bowls.
• We used frozen corn for our bowls. Add the frozen corn to a small saucepan with 1-2 Tablespoons of butter and salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until warm.
• The gravy will be prepared via package instructions. Leave on low heat until ready to use.
• Cook your instant mashed potatoes according to package instructions. Again, leave on low heat until ready to use.
• When you are ready to assemble, place a serving of mashed potatoes in the bottom of your bowl. Top with a layer of gravy then sprinkle corn over it. Finish with a handful of popcorn chicken and shredded cheese. Enjoy!

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425°
• Bring a medium sized pot of water to a boil and add in Yukon gold potatoes. Reduce heat to a medium temperature and allow to continue boiling until fork tender.
• Season the Alpha Nuggets with the cajun seasoning on both sides and place into the oven to cook according to package instructions for 13-15 minutes.
• Once the potatoes are finished cooking, drain the water and remove the cooked potatoes from the pot. Set aside in a separate container.
• In the same pot that was used to cook the potatoes, begin sautéing the minced garlic with a little oil over medium heat until fragrant and golden in color.
• Turn off the eye and add the cooked potatoes back to the pot with the minced garlic and mash with a potatoes masher. Stir in the vegan butter, salt + pepper and chives. Set aside.
• By now your Alpha Nuggets should be done cooking. Remove from the oven and set aside.
• In a microwave-safe container, warm your sweet corn and set aside once done.
• Begin building your bowls with the mashed potatoes on the bottom, sweet corn, vegan cheese, Alpha Nuggets and garnish everything with more chives (and cajun seasoning if you want!). Enjoy!
