Eggnog for all seasons! Any brand of liquor is fine; put your spin on it with your favorites. And remember, a little nutmeg goes a long way.

Steps:
- Mix sugar, rum, bourbon, brandy, salt, vanilla extract, and nutmeg in a blender on medium speed until combined. Transfer liquor mixture to a large bowl.
- Mix half-and-half, cream, and eggs in the blender on low speed until combined. Stir egg-cream mixture into the liquor mixture.
- Ladle eggnog mixture into the blender in batches; blend on low speed. Transfer blended eggnog to a punch bowl or pitcher. Refrigerate until cold, 1 to 2 hours.

Menu Description: “Golden brown, chicken breast strips coated with crispy Japanese panko breadcrumbs with the extra crunch of toasted sesame seeds and tossed in our famous Jack Daniel's sauce.” Although the original recipe is made from sliced chicken breasts, you may consider using the less chewy tenderloins in this kitchen copy. Packs of fresh chicken tenderloins are sold in most markets and you can also find bags of them in the freezer section. I’m a big fan of the more tender meat in the tenderloins, especially when it comes to chicken fingers. The breading is a simple combination of flour and panko (or Japanese bread crumbs). When the chicken fingers are done frying, gently toss them in the Jack Daniel’s glaze made from my recipe here, and you’ve got a great appetizer than can serve a half dozen finger food fanatics. - Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add carrots in two batches, cooking for 60-90 seconds each batch. Remove from skillet.Pour in whiskey and allow to evaporate 30 seconds. Reduce heat to medium, and add remaining butter. When butter melts, sprinkle brown sugar over the top. Stir together, then add carrots to skillet. Cover, and continue cooking for 5 minutes.Remove lid and add salt and pepper. Continue cooking until carrots are done and glaze is thick, about 5 more minutes.Pour onto a platter and serve immediately. Sprinkle with chopped chives if desired. Stick a serving spoon in the mix, and it’s time to serve ‘em up. And oh, what a wonderful time it is. I gobbled these up ‘til I embarrassed myself.And you will, too. I know it.
