When I was a child, I loved to drink black sesame paste with a strong fragrance and a ray of warmth to accompany my growth. It is a traditional health snack that nourishes the body and replenishes calories.

The entire ingredients and production process are relatively simple. In fact, you can taste the assured black sesame paste by doing it at home.

After each brewing and boiling, the whole house is filled with a thick aroma of sesame paste. Not only does it have a thick and soft taste, but it is also healthy and hygienic. After many attempts to make homemade, I no longer want to go out and buy instant food.

Steps:

  • Reference age: 12 months or more, for babies who are not allergic to all ingredients. Food preparation: cooked black sesame seeds 20g, walnut kernels 20g, rice 60g, glutinous rice 20g
    Cooking time: 20 minutes Difficulty analysis: Elementary
  • Wash the rice and glutinous rice and soak them 1 hour in advance.

    After the rice and glutinous rice are soaked, they will be slightly fluffy, and the machine will be easier to beat. This is the same as when we make soy milk.
  • Heat the pan without oil, and pour the soaked rice and glutinous rice directly.
  • Stir constantly until the rice is slightly yellowish in color, and stir-fry on low heat throughout the whole process, otherwise it will be easy to paste!
  • Add walnuts and continue to fry until completely dehydrated.

    I did not peel the walnuts here. The skin of the walnuts is rich in vitamin E, which has a good antioxidant effect. The beaten black sesame walnut powder has a special aroma, and you can't taste the walnut peel from the root!
  • Pour the fried rice, glutinous rice, and walnut kernels into the wall breaker, and pour the cooked black sesame seeds.

    I bought the cooked black sesame seeds in the supermarket. If you can't buy the cooked sesame seeds, you can also cook them in a non-stick pan at home. The aroma will come out and it will be done.
  • Start the wall breaking machine and beat the fried rice, glutinous rice, walnut kernels and cooked sesame seeds into flour.

    The texture of glutinous rice is very hard, even if it is soaked, it is not easy to break. I use 2 speeds. You can also use a soymilk machine or a cooking machine with grinding function to complete this step.
  • Bring water to a boil, add a spoonful of sesame powder and stir well.
  • Simmer it slowly over low heat. In order to prevent it from sticking to the pot, you need to stir it with a spoon all the time.
  • After boiling, the sesame paste will gradually thicken, and it can be out of the pot at this time! Remember to add 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar before serving, and stir to taste!

    If you drink it for a baby, make it thinner. It is very viscous because of the addition of glutinous rice. When cooking the sesame paste, you can heat up more water to adjust the consistency.
  • Put the ground sesame and walnut powder into a glass bottle and keep it sealed, scoop a few spoonfuls, boil it in boiling water, and mix it with other foods. The baby's breakfast is nourishing.
