Instant Pot is the easiest way to cook boxed Kraft macaroni n cheese! You don't even need to drain it! Dump box contents into the Instant pot, add water, butter and milk and press the button!

1 box (7.25 oz) Kraft macaroni & cheese
1 1/4 cup water
1/4 cup milk
4 tbsp butter

Steps:

  • Put macaroni and water in the Instant Pot.  Close the lid and turn the vent to a Sealing position.  Press the "Pressure Cook" or "Manual" button and set the time to 2 minutes on High pressure.
  • When it's done cooking, let the pressure release naturally (NR) for 5 minutes, then quick release (QR) the remaining steam. 
  • Open the Instant Pot and add milk, butter and the contents of the cheese packet. Mix the macaroni and cheese with a spoon so the cheese powder turns into sauce and the sauce is evenly distributed.

1 lb uncooked elbow macaroni
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
8 oz Kraft™ Velveeta™ original cheese product, cut into small cubes
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Spray 6-quart Instant Pot™ insert with cooking spray.
  • Add broth and macaroni to insert; stir.
  • Secure lid; set pressure valve to SEALING. Select MANUAL; cook on high pressure 5 minutes. Select CANCEL. Set pressure valve in VENTING position to release pressure. Add milk, mustard, cheeses and butter. Carefully stir until cheeses are melted.
