Yet another recipe given to me by a friend after I had it at their house.

Cook Time 1 hours 30 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 large onion, chopped finely
2 tablespoon(s) vinegar
1 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 teaspoon(s) salt and pepper
2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
1 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
1 can(s) 6 or 8 oz diced tomatoes (spiced ones would be good)
1 small can green chilies
2 pound(s) loaf of velveeta

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients (EXCEPT the Velveeta) in a medium size sauce pan. Simmer for 1-1/2 hours;
  • Melt cheese in microwave (if on stove slowly on low) and mix with ingredients that you've had simmering.
  • This an be kept warm in a warming pot or crock pot; if gets too thick you can thin it with beer.
  • Can be served with corn chips or lil smokies.

1 (16 ounce) bag frozen broccoli
1/2 cup onion
1 (10 1/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup (I use Recipe #425183) or 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (I use Cream of Anything Soup Mix)
1 cup milk
1/2 lb Velveeta cheese
3 cups cooked rice (I use brown rice)
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray and preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Saute onion until soft and translucent.
  • Cook broccoli in boiling water for about ten minutes or until almost tender; drain very well.
  • Mix all ingredients and place in baking dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
