The only dish my hubby ever taught me to make. :o) If I'm out of sweetened condensed milk, we use evaporated milk and sugar.

Steps:
- Gather fresh, clean snow in a large bowl or place a bowl outside after it starts to snow to catch it.
- You will need the bowl to be very full.
- Mix in the sweetened condensed milk& vanilla.
- As you stir the snow will reduce by about half.
- Keep mixing, by hand, until thoroughly combined; it will take a few minutes.
- Mix in or top with desired candies, sprinkles or ice cream toppings; or enjoy plain.

This is the recipe for the rice cream they serve in the Akershus Restaurant at Epcot at Disney World. It is the best rice pudding you will ever eat. They serve it with a strawberry sauce.

Steps:
- 1. Cook rice with water and salt for 15 minutes, covered. Add milk and cook for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and the mixture is thick. Chill rice in the refrigerator.
- 2. Whip cream and sugar and vanilla. Gently fold whipped cream into chilled rice. Set aside in refrigerator.
- 3. Spoon rice mixture into serving cups. Garnish with strawberry sauce if desired.

- 1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream to medium peaks. With the machine still running, add the sweetened condensed milk in a slow, steady stream and whip until it's incorporated. Add the vanilla extract and whip to combine. 2. Use a silicone spatula to gently fold any mix-ins into the mixture, taking care not to deflate it. (To fold, insert the spatula into the middle of the bowl and gently scrape toward you from the bottom up, in the shape of the letter "J". Rotate the bowl about 90 degrees clockwise and repeat the folding motion until the mix-ins are evenly incorporated.) 3. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch-by-5-inch loaf pan. Cover it with plastic wrap and freeze until the ice cream is scoopable, at least 3 hours and up to overnight. For best results, take the ice cream out of the freezer a few minutes before you want to scoop it.
