Spicy octopus recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

One day I went to the supermarket to shop with my family, and suddenly I ran into octopus buying~~As a housewife who loves food, I couldn’t help but snapped up a few catties~~~
Go home and take a look at it. They are all thin and long hairtails~~~
However, the small hairtail is also a fish~~~ There are also ways to eat small hairtail~~~~
Like today’s [Spicy Hairtail], someone who never likes to eat hairtail or spicy food can’t put it down~~~

2 pieces Hairtail
5 slices ginger
0.5 pcs Green onions
10 garlic
10gram Chopped green onions
30 Dried chili
35 grams pepper
70 grams Huang Feihong Spicy Peanuts
2 tsp salt
1 tsp Cooking wine
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
50 grams Dry starch
1 tsp White sesame
1 tsp Chicken noodles
1 piece Shallots
2 pcs Millet spicy

Steps:

  • Remove the head and tail of the hairtail, remove the belly, tear off the black film in the belly, wash and cut into sections for later use; prepare other ingredients: sliced ginger, green onion, garlic cloves, minced ginger, chopped green onion, dried chili, pepper, Huangfeihong spicy peanut;
  • Lightly cut a few knives on both sides of the octopus, mix the chopped green onion, ginger, cooking wine, salt and pepper, stir well, and marinate for more than 30 minutes;
  • The marinated hairtail is lightly patted with a thin layer of dried starch;
  • The electric baking pan is connected to the power supply, after brushing the oil, start the "preheating" program; after the "preheating" is completed, put in the hairtail and fry until golden on both sides;
  • Serve the fried hairtail and set aside;
  • Heat up the wok, pour in a proper amount of rapeseed and fry until cooked, then turn to low heat; add sliced ginger, green onion and garlic cloves and saute until fragrant;
  • Add dried chili and Chinese pepper, stir fry for a fragrance;
  • Add the fried octopus and stir-fry slightly;
  • Add Huangfeihong spicy peanuts and stir fry;
  • Add appropriate amount of white sesame seeds, salt and chicken powder;
  • Turn off the heat after stir-frying evenly;
  • Start the pot, sprinkle chopped green onion, the millet is spicy.

Wow! These peanuts are addicting! They are easy to make and would be great for a party. Make sure to drain very well after cooking or they will be greasy. The recipe comes from the Betty Crocker Christmas cookbook.

2 cups unsalted peanuts
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, use more if you like

Steps:

  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Stir in the peanuts, chili powder, and red pepper.
  • Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until peanuts are warm. Drain well on paper towels.
  • Sprinkle garlic salt over peanuts and toss to combine. Cool completely.
  • May be stored in a tightly covered container at room temperature.
